Are you looking for ways to make money online? Have you considered blogging as an option? Blogging is a great way to generate anywhere from a little income to a lot! The greatest thing about blogging is that it can be done at any time. Here are a few ways you can earn an income blogging.

Affiliate income

Affiliate programs are a great source of income for bloggers. With an affiliate program, you earn a commission whenever a reader purchases a service or product to a company. You are given a specific link and can choose a banner ad to place on your site. Some great sources to find affiliate products are:Clickbank, Amazon, Magnetic Sponsoring, MLSP(My Lead System Pro), and Tribe-Pro. These sites are essentially a ‘Wal-Mart’ for affiliate products.

Selling Advertising Space

Google Adsense is probably the most widely used form of selling ad space on a blog, although there are others. Programs like this are very easy to with your blog. You receive a bit of HTML code to add to your blog for specific products relative to your niche. You are paid on ‘per click’ – a ‘cost per click’ (CPC) basis. There are also impression based ads that earn you income based on the number of times someone views the ad.

Sell Subscriptionsaffiliate programs Ways to make money blogging

Subscriptions are a great source of residual income. Just like with a magazine, your readers pay for the information they receive on a recurring basis. This can be a difficult feat for a blogger, because the information found on blogs can normally be found on the internet free of charge. If, however, you have access to exclusive information and are a real expert [ie, Real Estate Agent, CPA or Attorney], you can provide your information for a fee!

Empower Network

This is a 3 step viral blogging system that is blazing a trail for blogging. For a nominal monthly fee of $25, you receive a fully operational WordPress blog. Private Label Rights (PLR) is an absolute stress-reliever when it comes to content for your blog! Creating content is the most time-consuming activity of blog maintenance. Creating blog posts, articles, and E-books can sink your productivity into the red in no time! By using PLR to fill the content needs for your blog, you automatically get a boost to your productivity, which means more free time to build your business!

Private Label Rights (PLR) is a license where the author sells the intellectual property rights to their work. The license is defined by the author of the work in that they can tell you what you can and cannot do with the property. By purchasing the content, you agree to the terms. When it comes to content for your blog, you purchase the rights for someone else’s content and use it as your own.

The first use of PLR on your blog is for content. Used appropriately, PLR is a great source of content for your blog! Blogging daily takes a lot of time, thought, and effort. To be successful, however, you have to do it. There’s no easy way around it. Blogging in itself is NOT an income-producing activity. It is a NECESSARY activity, but not an income-producing activity. Using PLR will allow you to spend less time on content and more time on other income-producing activities.

You can use PLR content as a bonus or free gift! This is especially helpful for the new marketer who doesn’t have their own product to offer. This could be an E-book or a free report on various topics. You can brand PLR products by using a professional cover and editing the content to make sure it’s niche specific. By offering a PLR product, you have something to give your reader in exchange for the reader giving you their information.
Depending on the PLR license, you may also be able to re-sell the product. Some E-books offer personalization, so that you can promote your affiliate links for specific products. Using this type of product will help you produce some immediate income to sustain your online marketing business. With all of the hard work out of the way, you can have a product to offer from Day 1!got content How to use PLR for your blog

Before purchasing PLR, check to see how many copies of the content has been sold! The LAST thing you want to do is purchase content that has been sold in unlimited quantities. The internet world, though big, is very small. If you get content from a source that has sold it in unlimited quantities, people will figure it out. Your credibility as a knowledge source will come into question, and damage your reputation. You want to buy from a source that sells its content in limited quantities.

Private Label Rights content needs to be presented in a way that only you know that you have used PLR. Once you have great content, it’s time to give it some personality…. YOUR personality! With that said, please take a few minutes to edit the content to add your own touch! Use the framework of the content – the concept and main ideas – but use your own words!

PLR is a 7-figure earner secret that is a huge time-saver that offers so many uses. Partner with a source such as the MLM PLR store for your content needs.

How to Blog For Your Business

How to Blog For Your Business

business blogging How to Blog For Your Business

A blog (short term for web log) is a part of, or type of, website. The content is updated on a regular basis, and is usually maintained on a personal level. Business entities, like a retailer for instance, can have a blog tab on their website. Again this content is updated regularly. The blog maintained on an individual level usually provides some sort of commentary in the form of describing an event or sharing an opinion on a subject matter. The term blogging is used to describe the act of providing content for your web log. A blog post is the content you provide to your blog to share with your readers. Blogging is a great way to establish your internet presence.

Start with a compelling title. This is the equivalent to a newspaper headline. You want your title to grab your readers’ attention.

Some examples are:

- 5 Surefire Ways To Drive Traffic To Your Blog

– How To Get A 1000 Fans On Facebook

– A 7 Figure Earner Secret Revealed.

These types of titles will pique your readers’ interest. Titles like the ones provided are designed to solve some sort of problem. If you want to write a blog post that will capture readers, poke around in your target marked to find out what questions are being asked. Write blog posts to answer those questions and then give those posts catchy titles!

A blog post ranges from 400-600 words on average, and contain 4-5 paragraphs. While there is no hard and fast rule on length, studies have shown that posts in this range are best. It is better to be brief and present a clear message, than to ramble on and fill your posts with meaningless wording. Adding filler words only reduces the effectiveness of your post.

The majority of your blog posts should be niche related.business blog marketing How to Blog For Your Business

What sense does it make for you to blog about water skiing, when your target market is fly fisherman? Be careful to use words that are easy to understand for your target market. For instance, if your target market is doctors or scientists, you should use terms common to their vocabulary – elucidate for example. If your target market consists of those who may only have a high school education, instead of using elucidate, use its common meaning – clarify. Best practice: Keep it simple!

Add a little eye candy to your blog post by adding a picture! (Notice the ones I added) The picture should be something eye-catching that adds to the blog post, not detract from it. Avoid pictures that are suggestive in nature. Choose pictures that will help illustrate your point. If your subject is no talking (insert topic), then have a picture that illustrates no talking (insert picture or description). Screenshots that show proof of what you’re blogging about will send your blog post off the charts!

The final part of your blog post should contain a ‘call to action’, which tells your readers what you want them to do next.

Sample calls to action are: Share on Facebook, Leave a comment, Click here. Even though it may be crystal clear to you what to do next, you don’t want to leave that to chance with your reader. Will a call to action make your reader do what you want? Absolutely not! It will, however, ensure they know what you want them to do. It’s their choice whether or not they actually follow through.

Where to Find Content For Your Blog

Where to Find Content For Your Blog

contentisking3 300x235 Where to Find Content For Your Blog

Blogging continues to be the best way to build your list. To be effective with your blogging, you need to blog daily. This is can be a huge undertaking, especially when just entering the world of internet marketing. There is always the struggle of what to share on your blog. Here are a few recommendations for sources you can use to provide content for your blog.

You can visit other blogs in your niche to find content. If you find yourself with nothing to blog about, see what other bloggers are talking about. Visit other blogs to get inspiration and ideas. If you like what you read and how it is written, share the post on your blog, but make sure to give credit to the original writer. Otherwise, rewrite the content, sharing your own thoughts and opinions about what you read.

Blog about your life/day

Your day to day experiences provide more content for your blog than you think. Stop and take a look at what’s going on in the world around you. Perhaps you had an interesting conversation with someone that you can relate to your niche. Maybe you had someone give you an objection you never encountered, and you handled it terribly. Share those experiences. You will be surprised at how many people will be able to relate to you.

What have you been learning lately? Have you been reading a great book, or have you attended an awesome seminar? Write a blog post about it! You may make the assumption that because YOU know something, that everybody else probably knows it already. That couldn’t be further from the truth! The more you grow and expand your knowledge base, the more you will have to share. Someone will resonate with what you have to share!

“How To” Blogging

You can write a ‘how to’ blog post. How-to’s are actually awesome traffic-getting posts. For example, you could write a blog post on how to fill out a profile on a social media site. You could mention some tips for making the profile stand out, and tell your readers the type of information to enter into their profile. The ‘how-to’ options are endless. You could write a how-to on how to use Google! Don’t worry about whether the task seems menial, write it anyway. Again, you don’t know who will read your content and receive tremendous help!

The news is a great source of blog content! If you see a news story related to your niche, share it! For example, if you’re a home-based business owner, and you see a story about additional tax benefits for home-based business owners, share it on your blog! This is the type of thing that really boosts your credibility, because you’re staying current with the trends! Mind you, you don’t need to comb the networks LOOKING for content. Just keep your eyes open for news stories.04 Figure 4 7 Pillars Expanded 1024x588 Where to Find Content For Your Blog

Blog about your business and/or team

What questions are being asked by your colleagues? Are they looking for marketing trends? Are they asking how to generate more leads? Look for the questions, and then write a blog post providing the answers. Don’t worry about knowing the answer; just be able to find it! The more questions you answer, the more valuable you become!

Another great source for blog content is Private Label Rights – PLR. You can purchase {insert MLM PLR store affiliate link} the rights to content written by someone else. You can use a service such as the MLM PLR Store to fill your content needs. This has been an industry secret for a REALLY long time, and is still an underused resource.
Blogging is a great way to gain a following and build a list, but it can be difficult. Use the sources above to produce an endless stream of content for your blog!

Benefits Of A Blog For Your Business

Benefits Of A Blog For Your Business

blog 300x300 Benefits Of A Blog For Your Business

These days it seems like everyone is flocking to the internet. It’s no wonder. The internet reaches billions of people worldwide. It’s no longer a ‘miracle’ to talk to someone who is experiencing your tomorrow, while you are in their yesterday. It’s common place to have friends in other countries that you’ve never physically met. With all these things possible in our virtual world, it is imperative that you make a mark that will stand out among the billions of people out there. The best way to do that is with your own blog! Check out the benefits to owning your blog!

Internet Branding

Just like Coke, Pepsi, Wal-Mart, Target and any other major retailer have brands; you need to have a brand too. Owning your self-hosted blog allows you the flexibility to build the brand you want. You are able to express yourself and allow your personality to shine.

Design

With networks and replicated website, there is nothing to allow you to stand out among the rest. By hosting your own blog, you decide how you want your site to look. You can design your blog to your own liking. This goes along with branding as well. And… you can change your look whenever you get ready!

Content Control

When you own your own blog, you control the content. You control what gets displayed and how often your blog is updated. What’s more is that all the content you create is owned and maintained by you.

Revenue Generationsmall business blogging med 300x262 Benefits Of A Blog For Your Business

Starting out on a blogging network site such as Ning or sites that offer free hosting for blogs is OK. However, you don’t control any of the revenue generation. You can monetize your own self-hosted blog. You choose the products to promote and which ones will be featured on your blog. You get to keep 100% of the revenue generated.

Mindshare

Mindshare is when someone is able to easily remember you. You can do this with a domain name. You can choose your domain name with a self-hosted blog. You can choose www.yourname.com or something catchy that has to do with your niche. You want to avoid lengthy domain names so that the user can easily recall what it is.

Traffic Generation

With a static website, a user has look for you specifically. With a blog, you can rank on the search engines with keywords, thus generating more traffic from the search engines.
These are just a few benefits to owning a self-hosted blog. There are many more. Start enjoying the benefits today!

Five Steps to Improving Downline Performance

Five Steps to Improving Downline Performance

How To Improve The Performance Of Your Downline Five Steps to Improving Downline Performance

Now that you have a downline of your own, it’s your job to lead them. Your team won’t automatically know what to do, even with a beginner’s manual put in their hands. It’s up to you to coach them into becoming the successful business owners they aim to be.

Training

Successful network marketing is always a team effort. For your organization to be successful, they must possess the same skills you learned from your own upline. That means a lot of training!

Initially, you’ll want your downline to know these basic skills:

• Building a prospect list
Teach them to make a list of a hundred or more people they know, along with their contact numbers. The longer the list, the better.
Have them order these people according to priority (e.g. those with dependents, those with influence, those that are easy to approach).
• Approaching and inviting prospects
How to do phone invitations
Different ways of approaching a person face-to-face
• Presenting the business and its products
How to use visual aids and marketing material
Knowledge of all products and services
Knowledge of the business system
• Closing a prospect
Handling objections
Asking for the business
Asking for referrals

Showing, not telling, is the best way to teach a skill. Let your team see how you invite, present, and close. Let them sit in on your meetings. Schedule some time for simulating invitations and presentations. Then, let them do the presentations and give them feedback on what worked and what can be done better.

Monitoring

Always begin with the end in mind—that is, set a concrete, reasonable goal. It’s the only real way to tell if you’re getting anywhere with your business:

Goal + Plan + Action = Resultsactionpic 300x200 Five Steps to Improving Downline Performance

Start by setting a target for your team to reach. If some of your teammates declare that they want to have X amount of income in Y number of months, then you must work with them to formulate a plan on how to get there. For example, it may translate to contacting ten people and presenting five times in a week for a period of two months.

Once you have the plan in place, touch base with your active downline partners once or twice a week to make sure they are following their own plan. Track their performance and see if they hit their targets. It’s best if you can meet with them face-to-face on the first few weeks of working together.

Giving Feedback

It’s not enough to monitor your downlines progress—part of your job is to give them feedback on their performance, to keep them on track. This means two things:

• Acknowledging their efforts and successes.
• Coaching and motivating them when their performance goes down.

It helps to continually focus on the goal. If your team gets discouraged and is no longer following their plan, remind them of their commitment to their dreams and the purpose of working their business. If, on the other hand, they have been exceeding their targets, be sure to acknowledge their efforts and tell them that they are that much closer to achieving their goals!

Remember that your business partners are not machines. Like any person, they need to be motivated and to feel that they’re not swimming alone against the current. Do your best to bring up their morale.

Setting New Standards

Once your team has achieved their primary goals, congratulate them. Then encourage them to set higher ones. If they are doing five business calls a day, why not ten? If they are closing one person a week, why not set a goal to close two?

Continuous improvement is the key to any successful business. Keep the attitude of: “I did well; can I do better?” After all, all your teammates have big dreams: a mansion by the sea, a brand new sports car, a month-long cruise, a wealthy retirement, a lasting legacy, and so on. They won’t reach them if they settle for easy mediocre goals. They must be committed to stepping things up.

It’s up to you to encourage them to reach higher, so continually set higher targets for your business partners. Sitting on your laurels only deters them.

Teach them how to teach others

Now that your downline knows the very basics of your business and is moving on their own, your final task is to teach them the more advanced skills—that is, everything we just talked about! They must all know how to train, monitor, encourage, and coach their own recruits. After all, your personal goal is to duplicate yourself, so that you can leverage other people’s time and talents. Soon they’ll be leading their own groups, and they’ll need to know how to manage them the way you did. Show them how.

In network marketing, your team is your greatest asset, and they’re the key to a comfortable, stress-free future. Nurture them well and watch your business grow by leaps and bounds.

Why a blog is better than a website

Why a blog is better than a website

blogs will change your business 300x236 Why a blog is better than a website

Businesses have had websites for years. Now, more individuals are hosting their own ‘websites’, by having a blog. There are more than 17 million registered blogs, and more popping up daily. Here are 5 reasons having a blog is better than a website!

1. Blogs are easy to set up!

You can install a WordPress blog in merely minutes. You don’t have to be too technically savvy to get this done. You don’t have to worry about coding, and the core files are there for you. You can find ‘done for you designs’ called themes. There are tons of free ones! The WordPress dashboard is very user friendly. All you need to do is log in, add your content. It is very easy to manage your pages, categories, and comments. The blog platform does the technical work. You get to add your content and manage your site the way you want!

2. Reader interaction!

When someone visits your blog and has an opinion, they can share it through commenting. You’ll get to know frequent visitors, and respond to their comments. Those conversations can continue through comments or email. When you have comments on a particular topic, it makes other visitors stop to take notice of what’s going on at your blog! Encourage and welcome those comments!

3. Blogs are more Search Engine Friendly than websites.

When a blog is updated, the search engine bot will crawl your site to index your new content. With a blog, you have the ability to optimize your blog content. When you link your pages to each other, you give the search engine bot more options to crawl. This is especially helpful when targeting a specific keyword. You can install a plugin called ‘All In One SEO Pack’ to help with optimization. [option add SEO Pressor affiliate link]

4. Blogs are more popular on social media sites than websites.Business Blog image 300x210 Why a blog is better than a website

Because our sense of community has evolved with the internet, readers are more likely to share your best content on social media sites. Readers interact with bloggers. Bloggers also interact with other bloggers and syndicate (share) content they find valuable. It’s very easy to install various plugins that make it easy for your reader to share your content to their favorite social media site!

5. Readers can subscribe to blogs via RSS feed. RSS stands for ‘Real Simple Syndication’.

When a reader subscribes to your RSS feed, your content is delivered directly to their email. They are among the first to know when you have new content, and visit your site as a result. With a website, there is rarely new content and there is no reason for the visitor to visit the site on a regular basis.

6. Blogging helps with personal branding!

When you have a blog, you can shine in your niche by providing content relevant to your target audience. You will be viewed as an authority figure in your niche by the content and knowledge you provide. The more questions you answer, the more you will brand yourself as a leader. Post content regularly and optimize them so that they are easily found by the search engines.

7. You have complete control over your blog.

You control everything – the look, the content, the hosting, when it’s updated – EVERYTHING! You can update your blog whenever you get ready. You can add or takeaway at your will. With a website, you don’t have that kind of freedom.
Having a blog offers incredible flexibility that a website does not. If you’re ready to own your own piece of internet real estate, contact me here.

How To Convert Reluctant Prospects

How To Convert Reluctant Prospects

Ever met a prospect who flat out refuses to believe you? Do they simply contradict everything you say?

Here is a skill that may get them to see your side and agree with your point of view.

MontyPythonRunAway 300x207 How To Convert Reluctant Prospects

Keep pushing and you’ll push them away

Answering objections is a skill you’ll want to learn very early in network marketing. The trouble is, even the correct, accurate answer may not always get you what you want.

People can give objections like “network marketing is a pyramid scam,” or “only the people on top get to make money,” or “MLMs are illegal businesses” or “only people who already have big networks in place can get rich.” Just simply telling them the opposite thing may not work at all. You may win the argument but you can lose the customer.

Nobody likes to be wrong, and nobody likes to be proven wrong. When you push, they’ll push back. The harder you push someone to change their minds, the harder they’ll try to entrench themselves in their opinion. They may say, “I know I’m right because I know someone who lost a lot of money in MLM.”

So if they believe they’re right and you can’t get them to budge, do you just give up? Of course not! You can use the power of appreciation to get them to see you point of view.

Sincerely listen to their side

The first step in appreciation is find out where your prospect is coming from. To do this, you need to make less statements and ask more questions.

For example, if you client says that “your business is just a pyramid scam,” ask them, what do you mean by pyramid scam?” and “why do you say that my business is one?”

These questions are not meant to be asked defensively. You’ll want them to understand that you’re curious about what makes them think that way. You want to sincerely understand their side of the story. Saying things like “How do you mean?” or “Help me understand,” or “What makes you say that?” are all meant to probe your prospect’s emotions. This attitude allows them relax and put their guard down.

Sometimes when you ask someone to clarify their statement, they may see on their own that their opinion is unfounded or inaccurate (e.g. “it’s shaped exactly like a pyramid, so I thought it was a pyramid scheme). If you’re lucky, they may even decide to correct themselves all on their own.

But even if this doesn’t happen, you are still one step closer to an agreement.

Appreciate their point of viewpoint of view thumb12852172 200x300 How To Convert Reluctant Prospects

Here’s the key aspect of this approach and requires as much sincerity as when you were listening: simply acknowledge their point of view.

This does not mean you agree with them! It simply means you see the merit of their opinion, even if you don’t share it. Spoken truthfully, “I understand how you feel” is a very powerful statement. It means that you understood them, that their side made sense. People will feel that you respected their opinion, and this invites them to respect yours.

You can go further by stating that if you were in their shoes, you would probably feel the same way. For example:

“I understand how you feel. You dropped $500 into an MLM and didn’t get your money back. Losing your investment in any business is rough. If it happened to me, I’d feel the same way and wouldn’t give network marketing a second thought.”

Again, let the signal be clear: you sincerely understand their side. Once they see that, it’s easier for the two of you to agree on something.

Get them to appreciate you

Now you can move on with stating your side. Get them to see the merit of your point of view. One well-used formula is the feel, felt, found method.

“I understand how you feel. I once felt that I was terrible at sales and wouldn’t even be able to answer a single question the customer would throw at me. But I found that the company trains its downlines very well, and wouldn’t even let me do presentations until I was ready. Also, it was less about selling and more about sharing the benefits of the product with other people.”

You can restate the formula in any way you wish.

“I get what you’re saying. I was pretty much the same when I started. I thought only the people above me would get rich and I was going to wind up losing my investment. But I realized that they were personally interested in my development and were willing to help me get my organization going. They taught me everything I needed to know to be successful. Now I’m earning an extra $1,000 a week and I’ve been nothing but grateful.”

Because you didn’t undermine what your prospect said, they’ll find it easier to appreciate what you say. Mutual appreciation opens the door to agreement, and is one of the most efficient ways to close a prospect.

Your First 52 – How to Build a Good Prospect List

Your First 52 – How to Build a Good Prospect List

2224be85 d2e7 45ea a120 6e9a6cf422ff 300x224 Your First 52 – How to Build a Good Prospect List

In business, prospects are the source of your income and your organization’s members—no prospects and no members means no money. One of the first steps to network marketing is to build a list of people to approach.

Sounds daunting? Relax, you’re not approaching them yet! You’re just considering who you can talk to. So take out a sheet of paper, or open an excel file, and start making your list. Come up with 52 names from the following groups:

▪ Your relatives
▪ Your friends
▪ People you work with
▪ People you play sports with
▪ People you meet in church
▪ Neighbors
▪ Parents of your children’s friends or classmates
▪ Former classmates, co-workers
▪ Anyone else you can possibly approach

When making this list, you’ll feel tempted to edit it at once. You think things like, “This one’s too poor. This one’s too rich. This one’s too busy. This one already has a business,” and you’ll want to keep them off. Just list without prejudice. You can never tell what a person needs or wants, and each time you edit you may be removing someone who could be a valuable member in your organization.

The Four Aces

Why 52, you ask? Sound’s like an arbitrary number, doesn’t it? You may list more if you like. But it helps to think of these 52 as representing a standard deck of cards (excluding the Joker). if you have one handy, get it now so you can do this experiment.

There are four suits in a deck of cards, and each suit has an ace. Now, suppose you were to flip the cards face up, one at a time, scoring a point each time you get an ace. What are your chances of landing one? The answer, of course, is 1 out 13. Count the number of cards you have to go through before getting four points.

Now imagine that each ace you get corresponds to your leader, the person who will not only join your organization but will step up and make your business boom. Your chances of finding this person are also around 1 in 13, and it’s likely that you’ll go through many others to get to them.

What does that tell you? It makes sense not to expect you’ll find this person on the first sales call or invitation. If it happens, great! But if it doesn’t, just move on. There’s still other people to meet, and you may even go through four, six, even 12 other people before finding the right one.

Take heart. In the long run, invitation is still a numbers game. Do it long enough, and you’ll find your four aces without fail.

So now you have a list of 52 people whom you know and who know you. You can start calling them alphabetically, if you like. But if you want your business off the ground fast, you ought to prioritize the people who are ready now, more than some of the others. Here’s a simple technique to help you do that.

First, go through your list and draw a star next to the names of the people who are married, have kids, caring for their elderly, or otherwise have dependents.

Second, go through your list again and pick out the names of people whom you have good relations with—best friends, favorite siblings or cousins, people whom you’ve helped, etc. Put a check mark next to their names.

Finally, go through your list once more and look for people in positions of influence. Managers, church leaders, speakers, CEOs, club presidents—anyone who’s in charge of a group. Put a triangle next to their names.

So, who do you prioritize now? Those names with the complete set of stars, checks, and triangles!
Why? Because they’re the ones who will most likely have good reasons to make more income (stars), will likely want to be in business with you (checks), and have the means to attract others to your organization (triangles).

Once you’ve finished, move on to the ones with two kinds of marks. Then on to the ones with one kind. Then finally, those that have none. Don’t discount these last few people, as they may have their own reasons and resources you don’t know about.

This simple system will save you time in inviting people and get your organization on a fast start. Once you’ve finished going through these names, you may draw up another one and do the same thing over. More importantly, you should teach it to your downlines too.

So, do you have your 52? Then start looking for those aces!

Why Your Greatest “Why” Matters

Motivation: Why Your Greatest “Why” Matters

what is your why 300x200 Why Your Greatest “Why” Matters

If you’re just getting started in network marketing and want to guarantee your success, here are a few questions you need to ask yourself:

• What’s the single biggest asset you can have on your side when building your business? (Take a minute to consider this)

• Is it a good starting capital?

• Is it a large existing network of friends?

• Is it a lot of time on your hands?

If someone were to say “I have a great opportunity here that can make you rich!” what would you ask them?

An overwhelming majority will ask the question “what”.

“What do I need to do?”

“What do I have to invest?”

“What do I stand to lose?”

About half the people asked may also respond with the question “how”.

“How will I succeed?”

“How will I leverage my time and money?”

“How can I maximize this opportunity?”

But precious few, perhaps one in ten, will ask the most vital question of all: “why”.

“Why do I want to do this business?”

“Why do I want to be rich?”

“Why do I want to be financially free?”

In network marketing, work will create only 10% of your success. The other 90% will rely on your why. That’s because your why is what’s going to move you to do everything necessary to make the business successful.

As the great millionaire John D. Rockefeller once said, “Singleness of purpose is one of the chief essentials for success in life, no matter what may be one’s aim.”

Anyone can have the money, the time, and the network, but if they don’t have a compelling reason to grow their business, then they can’t generate the will to work and maximize what they have. On the other hand, a person can have none of these resources, but with a great “why,” they’ll move heaven and earth to accomplish their dreams.

So before you embark on building and growing your MLM, or on any kind of business, ask yourself: what’s your greatest why? Why start the business at all? What end do you have in mind?why so serious the joker 3122768 1024 768 300x225 Why Your Greatest “Why” Matters

Is it to buy the house of your dreams?

Is it to get that private jet you’ve always wanted?

Is it to acquire jewelry, a Jacuzzi, a Jaguar?

Or is it something deeper?

Is it so that you can send the kids, yours or someone else’s, to the best schools available? Is it to support your parents so they can retire in style? Is it to shoulder the medical bills of a sick relative? Is it to build your family a fortune that would last through generations?

Or perhaps it has to deal with you personally. Do you want to have time freedom? To work only because you want to, not because you have to? To never worry about money again for the rest of your days?

All these are worthy dreams. Find out which of them are yours and list them down.

Better yet, cut out some pictures and post them on a tack board, a scrapbook, or even your own wall. Put it anywhere that you can see them everyday. And each time you feel disheartened, when you feel that everyone’s ignoring you and that you’ll never see the end of a long, soul-sucking day, look at those pictures and remind yourself why you’re in this business.

Let your biggest why be your greatest source of strength.
